The Speckled Mousebird (Colius striatus) is a medium, 13" (33cm) sized bird, found in west and central Kenya.
A drab-coloured bird with a crest, it does not fly well and is rather floppy in the air.
Speckled Mousebirds are found in groups of a dozen or more, in bushy and wooded areas, although they are solitary, when breeding.
